We would be delighted if you would join us at The AEBP National Collaborative Meeting of Minds on the 31st of January 2024. We will be joined by Olly Newton the Executive Director of the Edge Foundation as well as a number of guest speakers and representatives from EBPs across the country.
The event will be held at the Offices of the Edge Foundation 44 Whitfield Street Bloomsbury London W1T 2RH. Arrival at 10.00am for a 10.30am start and finishing at 3:30 pm.
As you know EBPs have all worked so hard over the last 10 years to continue to provide quality interventions for young people. In the post-COVID world of work, this has been particularly demanding, especially with so many changes in the workplace. Despite all this our work has still managed to deliver huge positives and without the knowledge, expertise, and dedication of the EBPs, we would have many more young people who would still find it difficult to access inspirational work-related learning opportunities and the life changing experiences that these can provide. We have all worked tirelessly to look at how we can manage the changes faced by the business community for the good of our future workforce. Collaboratively EBPs are the largest engagers of the business community on a national level, providing meaningful work-related interventions for young people.
The theme of the day is to celebrate the great work and achievements of EBPs and to inspire us all to continue to develop and adapt to meet the needs of young people in an ever-changing world. The day will also enable us all to plan and share good practice with like-minded EBPs. Our collective work over recent years reinforces the need for the service that we all provide as well as the constant challenges that we are facing in order to continue to provide quality work-related learning interventions in support of young people and their aspirations.
We would very much welcome your attendance as part of this event, on confirmation of your attendance you will be sent joining instructions. We would value a short clip or display of your EBPs work, this will be built into a virtual story board to be exhibited on the day and used to promote your work in the future.
