TEKK Challenge is an exciting programme designed to give 9 to 12-year-old students who are currently in Year 5 – 7 a hands-on, practical experience of forming a company to meet a technological challenge, and to help them identify and develop Enterprise and STEM (Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics) skills and attitudes that will be invaluable to them both now and in their future working lives.
230 Teachers receiving professional development training
At the completion of the programme the aim is for students to have acquired an understanding of what an enterprise is, how a company is formed, and how STEM is applied in a business environment. Through activities and participation, the students will be well on the journey to becoming competent in a wide range of skills preparing them for the transition from education into the wider world of business and education together.
